- Valentine cookie & cake sale on 12th February at 3pm in the Community Room.
- Cookies and Cakes to be handed into school on the morning of the sale. All items will be available to purchase from 3.00pm in the community room.

- The Easter Competition will be for the children to design, draw or make a collage we
will be giving out templates to be coloured in by the KS1 children and KS2 will have a
template. - These will be handed out on Friday 11th and collected for Judging on Monday
14th March.
KS1 will be colouring in either a basket, chick or Easter egg.
KS2 can draw anything to do with Easter on the template provided.
One winner will be chosen from each class to receive an Easter Prize on Wednesday 16th
March.
Entry into the competition will be 50p per child. - Bring and buy sale in April.
- Inflatable day (fingers crossed for the weather) on Friday 27 May
- “Summer Fete” on Saturday 2nd July from 12midday to 4pm. New & Old Favorites, Gyrus Olympic Gymnastics Display Team plus our very own Choir will be on show not to mention the Fire Brigade are bringing a Fire Engine to! Come and join us for the day you can sample Mighty Oak Brewery seasonal specials plus Tiptree Gin and of course Pimms. Dont worry we will have a BBQ serving Meat & Veggie friendly food to even up your Fete diet!
- Year 6 Leavers’ party will be kept the same as they have been doing for the last few years at their request.
Previous Events
- Friday 27th November 2015 - Christmas Fayre - Lots of people commented it was a good addition to have hot food at the event. We made £179.00 from the sale of homemade mince pies all donated from one Grandmother from Raspberry Class – thank you to Brenda!
- Friday 4th December 2015 - Christmas biscuit and cookie sale. Munch, munch and it was all gone – sold out! We made £70.00. Thank you for all the donations of items and to Stephanie & Tina for running the sale.
- Friday 11th December 2015 - Christmas Disco. A great success, the children loved it and even a few teachers came in to have a look and a bit of a dance. We made £280.00. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped; Wendy, Stephanie, Tina, Zoe, Angie, Natalie & Paula plus the School Teachers who helped get the children changed into their party attire and shepherded them back to their parents at the end of the evening!
We are asking the School Council to collate feedback on the last few events we have held and find out what they would like in the future. -
Tuesday 15th December 2015 - KS2 Carol Service held at St. Luke's Church. We went to support the school with snacks & beverages. We made £51.56 - well done to the two volunteers!
- The Book sale was held on Friday 29th January. We would like to say a big thank you for all
the book donations we received and also to Stephanie, Ros & Vanessa; the volunteers
who helped in the afternoon. We raised £72.35. It was a great success. - The Spooktacular
The children enjoyed our Halloween Spooktacular with Steve Sausage! Everyone loved the disco and the magic show was mesmerizing. Miss Oram and Mrs Firkins did very well during the Halloween quiz section
