Design Technology
Design and Technology at Tiptree Heath is an inspiring, engaging and practical subject. Children are encouraged to think creatively both on their own and with a team, in the design and construction of products that solve real and relevant problems in a variety of social settings. Children are taught the importance of considering how their designs meet the needs, wants and values of others. Often, links with other subjects such as mathematics, science, computing and art are made.
Objective evaluation of their own work is a skill taught at all levels and mistakes are celebrated as part of a learning process that help us to become resilient learners and to grow as innovators, risk-takers and designers.
